Mrs. Nettie Cassler
CHESTERTON CHIPS.
Mrs. Nettie Cassler, wife of David Cassler, a well-known farmer living in Burdick, died very suddenly Tuesday night of heart disease. She had been complaining of feeling poorly for some time, but had no idea that her life was endangered. She was up with one of the children, who had the earache, and after attending to it, went to bed. Shortly after, she was obliged to get up as she felt as though she would suffocate. Mr. Cassler got up, and began fanning her, but as she grew worse, he started to go for a neighbor to send for a doctor. He got no farther than the barn, when the children came out and told him "Mother was dead." She was 35 years old, and leaves five living children. The funeral was held Thursday.
