Mrs. Cass
Mrs. Dr. Cass, died Saturday last at home, in Porter township. Her husband at the time was in Chicago prostrated and helpless with inflammatory rheumatism. He was, however, brought home in an invalid's chair, and was placed under the influence of chloroform while undergoing preparation for the trip. Mrs. Cass had been unusually ill about one week. She was buried last Monday in the Salem church-yard. The doctor is not able to return to Chicago, but remains at home in a critical condition.
