Dell Card

FOUND DEAD IN A CAR.
Indications That Dell Card of This City, was Murdered.
Valparaiso Sun.

Last Sunday evening Frank Card, of this city, received a telegram from Duquoin, Ill., that his brother, Dell Card, had been found dead in that city.

A special from that city to the Chicago Inter Ocean this morning gives the following particulars:

The car inspectors in the Illinois Central railroad yards in this city found a dead man this morning in a car loaded with railroad ties which had just arrived from the south. The indications were that the man had been murdered. Letters on his person indicate that his name was Dell Card, that his wife Rosa Card, lives in Stevensville, Berrien county, Mich., and that his brother, V. G. F. Card, lives at Valparaiso, Ind. When found he was lying on a white sheet with his coat and vest off. A number of buttons were found on the car floor, indicating that there must have been a struggle. He was 30 to 35 years of age, had dark hair and mustache and weighed 140 or 145 pounds.

Mr. Card left for that place this morning to being home the remains for burial.
