Death of T. A. E. Campbell.
[From the Messenger.]
Hon. Thomas A. E. Campbell, one of our oldest and most respected citizens, died at his country residence, adjoining Valparaiso, (Tuesday) afternoon, of acute Hepatitis. Mr. Campbell was born in Mendon, Monroe county, New York, July 10th, 1810. He came to Valparaiso, May 3, 1833, and was married to Miss Margaret Parkinson, in this city, on March 25th, 1841. He was the father of nine children, eight of whom are now living. Mr. Campbell was an upright and honest man, and the sympathies of the entire community are extended to his grief-stricken wife and children. Funeral services by Rev. Robert Beer, at the M. E. church, on Thursday, May 16th, at 2 o'clock P. M. His old friends are invited to attend the funeral in body.
