DEATH'S DOINGS.
The Past Week one of Sorrow to Many of Our Citizens.
WILLIAM H. BUEL.
William H. Buel, son of George C. and Mrs. Caroline E. Buel was born in Valparaiso, Ind., Nov. 21st, 1854, and died at the residence of his parents in the same place on Monday, January 29, 1883, after a severe and long continued illness, in the 29th year of his age.
He is well remembered as a bright scholar during his boyhood, in the Valparaiso Collegiate Institute, and in the Sunday-school of the Presbyterian church of which he was a regular attendant, and where his respectful demeanor was remarked by his teachers. Later he became well known as an active and promising salesman in the grocery of his father. In the last few years of life he met with a number of severe accidents, which, with other causes, no doubt helped to break down a naturally vigorous constitution.
The funeral services were held on Wednesday p. m., January 31st, at the residence of his parents, and were conducted by Rev. R. Beer, a large number of friends being present to sympathize with the bereaved ones.
