LAPORTE.
DIED. -- Judge James Bradley died in this city Saturday afternoon at four o'clock, aged 77 years. Deceased was one of the earliest settlers and has been during his entire residence in LaPorte, one of its most prominent and influential citizens. He was given the judgeship of the territory of Nebraska by President Pierce but afterward resigned and returning to this city, he again engaged in his former profession as a lawyer and has since ranked as one of the deepest and most abstruce counsels in the state. He also served one term in the state senate where his views on all questions were much sought for. The funeral occurred Wednesday afternoon from the residence of his son on Jefferson street.
