RELATIVE OF VALPARAISO PEOPLE DIES IN CHICAGO
Diantha Victoria Kennedy, daughter of Truman and Catherine Beach, was born Nov. 8, 1841, and passed away at her home in Chicago May 1, 1916. She was married at the age of 14, in 1855, to Nathan A. Kennedy, whose death occurred several years ago in California. One son, Gordon B., was born to them, who also died, leaving a daughter, Madge, at the present time living with her mother, Mrs. Carrie Schroeder, in New York city. Mrs. Kennedy has a number of cousins living in this vicinity, also two nieces, Mrs. Fred Harrington and Mrs. Arthur Christy, and three nephews, George, Mark and Roy Beach. She had been in failing health for several years.
Funeral arrangements will be completed as soon as her son's wife and daughter arrive from New York city.
