FORMER WELL KNOWN VALPO MAN PASSES AWAY

Word has been received here of the death of Euphrates Baum, a former well known business man of this city, who died last Saturday in Mears, Mich., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Loretta Sanders. Mrs. Baum and four children survive. Mrs. Ellen Jones, of this city, is a sister of the deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Baum left here for Michigan many years ago to reside on a fruit farm. In recent years Mr. Baum's health was on the decline. Michigan was the state of his birth.
