FUNERAL SERVICES FOR WELL KNOWN PEOPLE

Three funerals were held in the confines of the county today, two in this city and one at Tassinong.
At the funeral of Frank Shunk, held at 9 o'clock this morning, Rev. E. J. Mungovan officiated in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends of the deceased. The body was taken to Ft. Wayne for interment, leaving here at 10:03 over the Pennsylvania. The pallbearers acting here were A. Banister, W. F. Spooner, W. H. Wareham, Dr. J. D. Keehn, C. F. Specht and James Griswold.
Rev. T. J. Bassett, of the Methodist church, conducted the funeral of Miss Jessie Arnold at the home at 10:30. Mrs. Ben Smith and Mrs. Bessie Brown Fisher sang. The pallbearers were George, Ralph and Don Arnold, brothers of the deceased, and Kenneth Wolf, a cousin. The remains were taken to McCool cemetery for burial.
The funeral of Mrs. Mary Rinker was held this afternoon at the home, with Rev. Claude E. Hill, of the Christian church, officiating. Interment was in the Trinkle cemetery. Valparaiso singers furnished the music.
