C. Ansbro
OBITUARY.
Mrs. C. Ansbro, wife of James Ansbro of Millers departed this life on Dec. 8th. She was in her 58th year. For the last tow years she was ailing, at first her affliction was of dropsical nature. Medical aid at length got this under control, when physical strength seemed to return; but it was only of short duration. General debility seemed to wear away the frame, that had witnessed a large family grow up before its eyes. The hardships of pioneer days made themselves felt in bone and sinew and showed with telling effect, that her pilgrim days were ended. Her suffering had been of long duration, yet it came somewhat unexpected when she calmly feel asleep to rest her weary bones, until the trumpet of the last day should call them forth to new animation. The funeral service took place at the Catholic church of this place on Saturday Dec. 10th.
High mass having ended and the last absolution pronounced, Father Kroll preached a touching and impressive sermon. We extend our most cordial sympathy to Mr. Ansbro, who lost a loving spouse and to the children for whom a mother's heart has ceased to beat.
