Former Resident's Husband Killed
Mrs. John Bowers of Richards road has received word of the death of Ensign
Martin Siljander, husband of the former Marguerite Printz of Pittsburgh, Pa.,
formerly of this city.
Ensign Siljander was killed in an airplane crash in Oklahoma Oct. 31. This is
the second tragic death in the Printz family within the past few months. In June
Seaman 1-C Gilbert Neuner, U. S. Coast Guard, husband of the former Corrine
Printz was accidentally killed while spending a leave with his wife's parents in
Pittsburgh.
Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Printz and family formerly resided on Brighton and Southard
avenue. Mr. Printz was in charge of boating operations of the Ellis
Transportation company when it operated here.
Funeral services for Ensign Siljander were held Thursday afternoon in
Pittsburgh.
