Of these, Paul, William, and Katharine are now deceased. The others, Leo, of Valparaiso; Frank, of Union Township; and Mary (McNamara), of South Dakota, are still living.

William had one son, Donald, a 1963 graduate of Wheeler High School. Donaid's son, Stephen, a fourth generation of McAuliffes, presently attends Union Center Elementary School.
The Cronican farm, located on U.S. 30, is now a part of the beautiful and scenic Shorewood Forest.
During the construction of U.S. Highway 30 back in 1939, sections of the McAuliffe farm had to be appropriated for this use.
