Remark: The Valparaiso City Hall, the white
structure with the tower seen in the image, was erected in 1878 during Mayor John N. Skinner's
administration. This structure was located on Indiana Avenue. The First National
Bank, constructed in 1902, is the structure seen to the right in this image.
Located at 14 Indiana Avenue, the front of this building was added to an older
structure to provide a more stately appearance. The law offices of
Crumpacker & Sons were located in the second story of the bank.
