Remark: This postcard photograph may have been taken from the top of the home of Henry Baker Brown, President of Valparaiso University, which was located at the southwest corner of Main Street and Jefferson Street - one block north of the intersection of Main Street and College Avenue. Brown's house had an "observation deck" built onto the top of its roof. The Porter County court house is visible in the distance to the left side of this image.
