Remark: This building was located at 355
Greenwich Street and was razed around 1940. The Northern Indiana Law School was
organized by Mark L. DeMotte in 1879 and later became a college within
Valparaiso University in 1907. The law school discontinued operations in 2020.
The building housing the law school, seen in this image, was originally the
private residence of Northern Indiana Normal School and Business Institute
professor Felix Ekblad, a former head of the fine arts department. This building
continued to serve as the home of the law school until it was moved into the
Law-Arts Building.
