Remark: Mound Hall was used as a barracks during World War I. It was
located northeast of the present day intersection of Mound Street and Greenwich
Street. Columbia Hall, also used as a barracks during the war, was adjacent to
Mound Hall. Note that between 1900 and 1906, today's Valparaiso University was
known as Valparaiso College.
