Remark: This view looks south down County Road 100 East. Present day US Highway 12 is the crossroad seen in the middle of this photograph. The large white building on the left side of the photograph (behind large power transmission pole) is the Tremont Hotel. The Old Indian Medicine Man business was located in the dark, white-trimmed building on the right (behind mail boxes) at some point shortly after this photograph was taken. The South Shore Line's Tremont Station would have been located behind the photographer.
