Remark: This building was constructed by
George G. Knoll, Knoll owned and operated Ford Garage and Livery in Kouts. This
property was later purchased by Chris Daumer to house the milk trucks of the
Bowman Dairy. The building then sold to Heinold Hog Market and was completely
remodeled and renovated to be used as the main office of the company. A total of
eleven employees worked from this building when Heinold Hog Market took
occupancy.
