Remark: Sandy Hook Creek's headwaters are located in the townships
of Morgan and Porter and the creek flows southward draining into the Kankakee
River at the NW¼ of Section 28 T33N R6W in Boone Township. The creek was later
dredged and straightened to create Sandy Hook Ditch.
