Remark: Picturesque Dunes Park, half way between Gary and Michigan City, Indiana, on the shore of Lake Michigan, comprises 2,250 acres of forest and dunes, miles of interesting trails, gnarled trees, resisting the ever-shifting powdery sand, plants peculiar to the tropics and moss indigenous to the arctics. Ideal facilities for picnic or vacation, refreshment pavilion, hotel accommodations, cottages, camp sites, a fine two-story bathing pavilion and concrete parking spce for 1600 cars.
