Remark: The Prairie Club of Chicago
organized several outdoor dramatic events with the goal of spurring interest in
the conservation of the Indiana Dunes. This postcard photograph is from the play
Duna, the Spirit of the Dunes, which was written by Mrs. Jacob J. Abt.
The play was written to commemorate the opening of the Prairie Club's Beach
House located at Tremont on October 19, 1913.
