Remark: This postcard image shows present day Broadway Avenue looking southwest from approximately Calumet Avenue. The wood framed building with the pitched room was the Central House Hotel. Two building to the left of the Central House Hotel is where the Central Hotel was once located until it was razed by fire in 1908 - visible here as being replaced by a single story structure.
