Remark: Perry L. Sisson served as Mayor of Valparaiso from 1914 to 1922. Sisson erected the Pioneer Apartment Building on the corner of Chicago Street and Franklin Street in 1908, using cement block that was prepared on site and not yet completely dry when laid as walls.
