Remark: After the Goodrum Junction power station was destroyed by lightning in 1925, the Woodville Substation was constructed as its replacement in 1926 to serve the Gary & Valparaiso Railway and the Gary Railway. The Woodville Substation was a 500 kilowatt, 600 volt full-automatic American Brown Boveri arc rectifier with a primary supply of 33,000 volts at three-phase and 60 cycles. With the failure of the interurban service, this structure was later converted to a private residence.
