Remark: Note that this postcard was mailed to the breeder of this horse, G. E. Marston. Written lightly in pencil at the bottom of the reverse side of this postcard is "From Harry Olson." Harry Olson was a judge from Chicago who owned several properties as "hobby farms" southeast of Kouts.

Eagle Elms Stock Farm was located in the SE¼ of Section 21 Township 33 North Range 5 West in Pleasant Township, Porter County, Indiana, about two miles southeast of Kouts.
