Remark: This church was located at the northwest corner of the present day intersection of Second Avenue and Indiana Avenue. The Chesterton Public School was located immediately to the west of this church. Today, the Thomas Branch of the Westchester Public Library stands on the site of this church and the public school.

This church was occasionally referred to as the English Methodist Episcopal Church since a Swedish Methodist Episcopal Church was also located in Chesterton.
